SGH Martineau has extensive experience of energy trading, advising market operator APX on the market rules for its UK platform of trading products, including power, gas, gas storage rights and carbon.

Gas work includes advising the UK’s largest provider of gas meters, which has placed it at the forefront of smart metering developments in the UK. The firm has also worked on one of the UK’s new onshore gas storage projects, and recently launched a new integrated carbon capture and storage service.
