From 3 to 5 September 2025, leading European experts from the worlds of politics, science, business and law gathered in Meisenheim for the traditional AEEC Summer Camp. With the theme of ‘The Clean Industrial Deal: A New Beginning for European Energy and Climate Law’, the discussions centred on shaping the future of clean energy in Europe.
Topics presented by prominent guest speakers included the transformation of energy markets, innovative financing instruments and creating lead markets. One clear message emerged: the success of the ‘Clean Industrial Deal’ hinges on robust and enduring European collaboration, also and in particular among law firms.
Alongside the intensive debates among all AEEC colleagues, the programme offered opportunities for networking in a more informal setting. These ranged from vineyard conversations to a festive dinner, reflecting the European spirit of collaboration and putting ideas into practice.
