The present study (AEEC Presentation_Dinova Rusev & Partners Law Office) is prepared for the Bulgarian Wind Energy Association and its members by DRP Legal –
the Bulgarian member of the Association of European energy and climate lawyers with the assistance of
the AEEC member law firms and external sources. It aims to provide overview of the legislative
requirements in the different states related to minimum distances between wind tower generators and
populated areas. The information included in this study represents the state of regulations as of May 2025
and does not represent exhaustive study on all legal requirements.
